I caught the opening night performance of STRIKING 12 last night. This unusual musical has a modern story set against the backdrop of Hans Christian Anderson’s “The Little Match Girl.” There is some beautiful music and a few laughs.
The show has been restaged since last year with a mostly new cast and a new director (Ted Weil). Originally presented as a concert, the score of this show is the highlight. I suspect this production has suffered from cast illness as one of them even had a coughing fit on stage. I felt for her.
Anyway, I always enjoy going to Falcon to see Ted and Tracy and crew; and those Jenny’s cookies are delicious!

Up next for Falcon is the Ed Cohen directed IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT. I’m very much looking forward to this one!
Happy Holidays, everyone!
